Nashville Tree Care Resources & Expert Guidance

We believe an informed homeowner is a tree’s best friend. Whether you are looking to plant a new sapling or need professional guidance on a legacy oak, use the resources below to navigate tree ownership in Middle Tennessee.

1. Professional Standards & Certification

When hiring for tree work, credentials matter. We recommend always working with an ISA Certified Arborist to ensure the long-term health of your canopy.

2. Diagnostics & Tree Health Support

If your tree or shrub looks "off," getting a scientific diagnosis is the first step toward a cure.

  • UT Soil, Plant & Pest Center: Located right here in Nashville (5201 Marchant Drive), this lab offers affordable testing for soil quality and pest identification. *for small fees they can test samples you bring in and provide advice along with the results; you can send your report to us for additional guidance or for professional treatments

  • Expert Interpretation: Once you receive your lab report, send it to us. We provide professional treatments and guidance based on these scientific results.

3. Local Nashville Guidelines & Safety

Staying compliant with Metro codes and utility safety is essential for any property owner.

4. Planting & Research Tools

Selecting the right tree for the right place prevents future removal costs.

Service Referrals & Specialized Support

To maintain our focus on high-skill Tree Artistry and Preservation, we do not offer general landscaping or heavy-machinery removal. If your needs fall outside our boutique specialty, we recommend these trusted avenues:

Emergency & Insurance Claims

If you have a 24/7 emergency involving a fallen tree and an insurance claim, contact Timber Warriors.

Pro Tip: Always ensure your contractor is licensed and insured. Never pay a deposit upfront; payments should only be made once the work is completed to your satisfaction.

Stump Grinding

While we provide "Full-Circle" support for trees we manage, we do not offer standalone stump grinding. We recommend Blue Ox Gold Fern for dedicated stump removal estimates.

What We Leave to Others

Our team focuses on expert-level skill and health diagnostics. We do not provide the following standalone services:

  • General Lawn & Garden Care: For mowing, bed work, or irrigation, please contact a local landscaping firm.

  • Ground Debris & Chipping: We specialize in "still-standing" work. If a limb is already on the ground and safe, it is more cost-effective to use a general hauling or chipping service.

  • Bamboo Eradication: True bamboo removal requires heavy excavation of the rhizome system. We can provide topical suppression, but for full removal, an excavation specialist is required.
